Co-ordinator and Marketing -

Promoting the use of Fitness Yoga for healthy mind and body and to enhance performance in all physical sports.

About:  My sporting history is based in aquatics; as a competitive sprint swimmer throughout my life and a league water polo player; coaching the two sports as well - at ASA level 2. Also long-distance running at a serious level, and many other sports. I discoverd Yoga and the importance of core training 5 years ago and this greatly improved my physique, strength and weight-management, just when aging demanded it.

Yoga Style:  Freestyle Fitness Yoga which is a Dynamic physical form of Yoga informed by strength excercise knowledge. Flowing sequences unite movement and breath to build strength and flexibility. Freestyle Fitness Yoga builds core stability and improves balance through a combination of standing and mat based postures. Careful sequencing of poses promotes strength, muscle balance and flow.

Aspiration: My aim is to bring club, disco, and electronic dance music and fitness yoga together. For people who get the benefit, as I do, from this combination.

What is YOGA?

Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.
